Kips to display in Nantucket Square PDF Print E-mail

Artist and innovative thinker, Ragamuffin Kips has an incredible talent and passion for both the physical world experienced by all and the virtual world known as Second Life.   Kips would say his work has, “a foot in both worlds” and will be on display for the public starting February 21st.  The exhibit, “Prims on Paper” will run until March 20th and starts with an all welcomed Gala where the soothing guitar melodies from Joaquin Gustav can be enjoyed. He will be streaming live from Argentina from 2pm-3pm.
“Art is a very physical act.  I use mainly chalk pastels to create my drawings because they're easily manipulated with my hands,” Kips explained.  That is what makes Kips work so amazing, and brings Second Life and real life together as one.
Kips vision of fusing Second Life art with real life art is refreshing. He wishes the audiences of his work to allow the veils of separation between the "real" and the imagined to relax a bit.
