The SLNE Marina is the perfect place to purchase any seagoing vessel.
Customize a Tako at SZ Designs on Broad Street or cruise with the big boys at AL Yachts on Water Street (pick up a helicopter while you're there). For those who appreciate the beauty of classic design, elegant powerboat reproductions by RJ Kikuchiyo, reminiscent of fine furniture, are available from the kiosks in his shop in Nantucket Square. If you're seeking even more thrills: buy an RS: X Windsurfer (You Tube video available) for L$375 (or L$500 for 7, if you can't decide on a color), available at the dock. Also available dockside: Jet Skis for 2 people for L$450 (I think the pink one is the cutest!). How about a hopped up catamaran built for speed? Check out the Zinneman 40 for L$950. The Flying Fizz 2.0, a sailboat designed for the new physics, is available for L$250, right next to the Marina TP point, as are several motorized offerings from Coastal Mariner Yachts. Don't miss Raver Bellow's hot jet skis on the north side of the Main Dock, either. His Wave Ripper and Hydra look like tons of fun. |

The four new vendor carts located in Mystic are open rain or shine! Jewelry, fashion, art works and a quick trip to a Shabby Chic Shop in the Danish Marina, are all within eye shot of the Mystic bridge and the mermaid sculpture. So get out in the Second Life spring sunshine and visit these new vendors! There are still some small spaces available in on the second floor of the Nantucket barn. These are a great way to get started in SLNE on a small scale. |

Starthistle Designs, located on the lower level of the barn, is a shop familiar to SL New Englanders, an institution! The quality and price of the garments that Thistle Stardust, the owner and designer, offers is really without compare. L$50 for a flexi everyday dress, L$175 for a red sequined gown! Every piece is tasteful and very well designed. Products come with an landmark to Thistle's other locations and she is very generous with free gifts in her shop. Visit or, more likely, re-visit Starthistle for unique designs at very low prices. |
